The paste provides and maintain some volume and a decent medium~firm yet malleable hold throughout the day. The paste is relatively spreadable and easy to apply, though it took me sometime to adapt, having been used to "softening" products with a splash of water and applying on damp hair. I have yet to try the regular scent, but this smells amazing! Please make this part of the permanent line-up, or at least don't stop making it! :)

At first I wasn’t too fond of the smell but it grew on me after a while. The paste has great hold and leaves my hair looking awesome. Highly recommended.

I've been a fan of the Northern Lights Matte Paste for a few years now. I was due for a new jar and decided to purchase the new scent. I love the regular formula, but I've really enjoyed the new citrus bay rum - I hope it becomes a permanent product!

I’ve been using the shear revival matte paste for several years now. I’ve made my rounds through their product line and this is my go to. I like the original scent but this one I like better.
