American Gardens Clay Pomade

$ 19.00

Using a combination of two past oil-based formulas, we created the American Gardens Clay Pomade. However, this time we’ve worked out a user-friendly experience by creating an aloe-based formula that washes out easily. To top it off, it features a wild orange & oak moss fragrance created with therapeutic grade essential oils.

Crafted For One

American Gardens was crafted to be the more intense version of Northern Lights Matte Paste. Its namesake comes from a favorite movie of ours, American Psycho. The label is inspired by artwork found around Patrick Bateman's apartment in the movie.

Too Hard to Scoop

The hold is definitely strong and the finish matte but scooping it and working it in is very difficult. I had to add quite a bit of water to even get it going and even then it was hard to get rid of some whiteish patches it left. I still like the brand but I'll stick to some of their other products.

Strong hold and excellent matte.

Ive used this for a couple months now and am very satisfied.
After trying 'Northern Lights' and 'Easy Tiger', I believe ill be settling on this one.

Super strong hold (even for my thick, straight and long hair) and absolutely no shine. Beautiful matte look.
Consistency is the best out of the 3 I've tried so far. Easy to scoop, and washes away even without soap.
'Northern lights' and 'Easy Tiger' was nightmare to get out of the jar and to wash off my hands for some reason.
Smell is very similar to the ones mentioned above ( a lemon kind of scent ) however, this one had hints of pepper which was nice.

Solid hold yet an easy wash out

I have used this product for some time now.
This is my second jar. I will admit it can be tough to get out of the jar at times, but it applies easily and styles very well.
Water rinse also.

Easy to apply

Not sure why others claim this is hard to apply. It was really easy. Maybe it was reformulated? Reminded me a lot of Firsthand clay pomade which is a good thing. Gave me a more natural shine than matte which is also a good thing. If this has been reformulated, PLEASE keep the current rendition!
