HANDS DOWN THE BEST POMADE I’VE USED!! I’ve experimented with TONS of different brands and products throughout the years. I’ve always struggled to find that perfectly natural flow that doesn’t consistently fall down into my eyes or blow all over the place in the lightest wind. I’m a male with thicker hair that drapes down to my nose, wearing it flowed back. I love the natural look and feel this provides, all while holding every hair very firmly in place. This holds like a much greasier product, applies very easily without feeling like I’m tearing my head off, but it looks and feels like your natural hair. Absolutely blown away by this Clay Pomade and cannot recommend it enough! The smell is pleasant as well, but in no way overbearing. Performance is the name of this game.

The hold is more of a medium than high hold.

The texture is great.

The ease of application is fine after emulsifying.

I think this could use more wax to make scooping it out easier? I’m no chemist, so don’t crucify me if I got that wrong.

I’m usually a Northern Lights guy when it comes to Shear Revival, but I did love my first jar of American Gardens last year. Great product all around and loved the smell. I decided to get another jar this time around and it just wasn’t the same. The clay was extremely hard and it’s difficult to emulsify. The part I was most excited about was the smell, and even that was way off from what I experienced previously. Fairly disappointed but will chalk it up to bad luck.

Have been using the clay for a week now and don’t like how it really makes my hair seem very dry, with a lot of flyaway hairs. I understand that it is a Matt finish, but it just is not working for my short hair.

Incredible hold, fantastic scent & overall one of the top 3 post-stylers I’ve ever used. Highly recommend, shear revival has always blown me away.
